If you want to be part of running the troop, please join us at our next Troop Committee Meeting. Troop Commitee Meetings are usually held the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to all scout parents . We hope to see you there!

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish a date and location for the program
  • Coordinate with property owners whether it be a state park or private property
  • Negotiate fees
  • Create a program itinerary for the weekend
  • Attend the event

  • Create a menu for the Old Bucks
  • Purchase food items
  • Coordinate required troop cooking gear
  • Assign cooks and clean-up crews
  • Attend the event

Please coordinate all your activities with the Outdoor Activities Coordinator for the event.

We normally set our campouts for the third weekend of the month, but we can be somewhat flexible if changing the weekend would improve the outing.

The final itinerary should be coordinated with the Scoutmaster to ensure traditional activities (e.g. patrol time, campfires, chapel, etc...) are included.
